The concept was initially just two different people with different facial features drawn side by side but it ended up evolving into these two as I kept going.
Nurturing natives- Brook Trout
Did you know that the brook trout is Michigan’s state fish, and is also the only native trout found in Michigan waters?

This friend is the state bird of Michigan, and signals the beggining of spring when it leaves its roosting flock to claim land and start a family!

This big bat is an extremely abundant bat across the Americas, and is also found in Michigan!
Turandot, a western tale of the lotus flower and dragon lady🪷
Set against the backdrop of a fictional ancient China, Turandot, an incredibly famous opera written in 1926 by renowned Italian composer, Giacomo Puccini, is widely regarded as one of the hallmarks of opera (Turandot | Metropolitan Opera, n.d.).
