Critter Comix Week 11 !

A comic of a cat thats overwhelmed by all of the holidays right now.

Lets slow down!

This month feels like the calendar accidentally enabled every cultural setting at once.

It’s Black History Month, which deserves real attention and reflection. Then suddenly it’s Valentine’s Day, and everything is pink and emotionally charged. Then it’s Chinese New Year, complete with zodiac discourse and red everything. Meanwhile, Ramadan begins for many, Lent starts for others, and somehow, because the universe has a sense of humor, it’s also Paczki Day, meaning jelly-filled powdered sugar bombs are now a moral obligation.

I wake up every day and there’s a new theme. A new color scheme. A new spiritual tone. Am I reflecting? Am I romantic? Am I fasting? Am I eating fried dough? I genuinely don’t know.

Like??? Who scheduled this???

It’s beautiful, honestly. So many cultures, traditions, histories, and meanings overlapping in the same stretch of time. But also? My brain cannot pivot this fast, can we space things out a little?? I need a transition slide between “solemn reflection” and “heart-shaped candy.”

I understand, the children yearn for globalization. Or at least a shared Google Calendar.
