Adding your event to the Festival Calendar
To add an event to the Happening@Michigan calendar, your uniqname must be affiliated with an authorized group account.

To post a new event:
Go to events.umich.edu/manage/event/new and sign in with your U-M credentials.
Follow the prompts to create your event.
On the Keywords tab:
Type Michigan Arts Festival in the search box
Click the large + button
If prompted, click Use Custom Keyword.
Continue to follow the steps to publish your event.
Your event should populate on the festival calendar page within 10-15 minutes.
If you do not have the ability to post events on Happening@Michigan, you may reach out to the Arts Initiative for assistance at artsfestival@umich.edu.
To edit an existing event:
Go to events.umich.edu/me and sign in with your U-M credentials
Find the event you’d like to add and click the Edit Event button on the right side of the listing.
On the Keywords tab:
Type Michigan Arts Festival in the search box
Click the large + button
If prompted, click Use Custom Keyword.
Your published event listing should update automatically when you proceed to the next tab.
Your event should populate on the festival calendar page within 10-15 minutes.
