DRAGON COVE OF MYTHS, LEGENDS, AND STORIES: Charged Confrontation⚡⚡⚡

I’ve always wanted to make a comic, and this was the first time I went through with making a complete comic page! I’ve always loved the dynamic panels of superhero comics and wanted to channel that action into my own mini story moment. Comics offer a lot of visual storytelling advantages over traditional written or oral story methods, and it was fun to make deliberate choices on specific scenes/panels and angles on how I wanted viewers to see the story unfold. It’s almost like making a movie but with all the frames smooshed onto one page.

Here, Irene has freed some hostages and is trying to make a quick getaway to meet up with the escapees but gets stopped by a former friend of many years, with whom she’s had a rocky relationship since they went their separate ways.
