“Critter Comix 2” by Maheen Rashid

A four-panel comic shows a cat as they study for, take, relax after, and get their grade back for an exam

This comic strip by Maheen Rashid, an LSA sophomore, shows a cat going through the progressions of a student taking an exam. They begin with a late-night study session, then move to taking the exam on paper. The middle panel is one that many students can relate to: the text “after the exam” sets the scene for the cat relaxing in the grass, not a care in the world. Then, the final panel shows the nerves associated with getting back an exam.

This simple, but humorous comic strip is one that many students can relate to - in all four stages. Wishing everyone luck with this midterm season!

“Critter Comix 2”, and other student comics can be found in the “Student Comic Anthology” from Arts Initiative. Volume II is out now, available around campus for students to check out!
