A giveaway to defend the right to access diverse stories
In celebration of Banned Books Week 2023, a giveaway event distributed copies of recently banned books that address important themes like sexuality, race, and gender while providing resources on fighting book bans. The goal was to raise community awareness about threats to democratic freedoms and encourage active participation in defending the right to read.
