PHOTO GALLERY — Scenes from Festifall on Central Campus

Thousands of students descended on Ingalls Mall on Central Campus on Aug. 27 for the annual Festifall, featuring a multitude of student organizations and vendors.

The event usually takes place on the Diag, but with construction continuing to replace brick pavers and improve drainage, it was moved to Ingalls Mall and spread out over three time slots.

Zhaoyuan (Eric) Jiang and Jiaqian Li are members of Kendo Club, a student-led club that practices kendo, a Japanese martial art using swords. They were among the many organizations for the Central Campus Festifall on Aug. 27.

The Central Campus Festifall had a different location — Ingalls Mall — due to construction on the Diag, which led to organizers creating three time slots for the event.
