Joe Levickas

Joe Levickas is the Director for Student Engagement. He is an artist, curator, and arts professional with a BFA from University of Illinois and an MFA from Pratt Institute, both in Painting. He has spent his career working within arts and educational institutions, supporting students as artists, audience members, and arts leaders. Prior to its merger with Arts Initiative, he led the Arts at Michigan program, where he developed many of the student-focused programs that are now part of the Arts Initiative. In addition to his work at U-M, he is the founder and curator for Creal Microgallery, a breadbox-sized exhibition space for small work.
