The MT 27 Seniors strike a pose. Choreography by: Burke Brickner, Emily Murakami, & Tiffany Nagano.
This October, the Michigan Musical Theater department published their annual recording of the Musical Theater Senior Class entrance. Every year, the seniors of the MT department produce, direct, write, choreograph, and star in a special performance to kick off the school year. It’s filled with Michigan-ized parodies of some favorite musical songs like “The Greatest Show”, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, and more. Popular topics for the parodies include the MBus System, Bursely Hall, and the SMTD faculty. This performance is an honored tradition, and is sure to have you smiling from start to finish.
This year’s senior entrance is dedicated to the life and legacy of Judy Rice, a renowned dancer and educator, who touched generations of artists.
