Kick off Welcome Week with an evening that highlights the many ways students can engage with the arts on campus.

Explore interactive art-making, live music, dance performances, poetry, and more. Come to connect, create, and get inspired.

Artscapade is an annual welcome week tradition from the Arts Initiative and UMMA, bringing over a thousand students into the University of Michigan Museum of Art each year since 1999.

VOLUNTEER AT ARTSCAPADE!

Volunteering at Artscapade is a great way to meet fellow arts-loving people in the U-M community, and we hope that you will join us at this evening of art-making, live music, dance, and more. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members are all encouraged to sign up!

Volunteers are expected to arrive at the event an hour early for a brief orientation (5 p.m., August 28 at UMMA).
