Student Mini-Grant Application

Student Mini-Grants Guidelines

1. Arts at Michigan will consider funding student groups requesting seed money for new programs as well as those groups working to improve the sustainability of existing impactful arts programming.
2. 2. Arts at Michigan will consider funding for programs or events that involve a donation to charity as long as your student group has set up a Designated Fund (DF) account, in addition to your regular SOAS account, for your specific charitable cause. For more information about setting up a DF account call SOAS at (734) 763-5767.
3. Arts at Michigan is unable to fund graduate student projects, our list of Other Funding Sources may be helpful to graduate students searching for funding.
4. Arts at Michigan does not fund food or beverages.
5. Arts at Michigan will not accept appeals from Student Mini-Grant applicants regarding the rejection of their application, or the amount of funding their student group has been awarded. The decision of the Student Mini-Grant Review Committee is final.
6. Arts at Michigan expects that individuals and groups who receive Student Mini-Grants funding will complete and return the required feedback forms to the best of their ability. Should a SMG recipient fail to return at least one feedback form to Arts at Michigan, this will compromise their student groupšs chances of receiving funding from Arts at Michigan in the future.

Once you have read and understand the Student Mini-Grant Guidelines:

1. Download the Student Mini-Grant Application Form
2. Complete all fields
3. Save the form (IMPORTANT: Word 2007 users, you MUST save the file as a 2003 document (.doc) or we will not be able to read it!)
4. E-mail completed form to arts.grants@umich.edu
