Arts at Michigan
Combines programs, services, and funding opportunities to promote access, study, appreciation and enjoyment of the arts by undergraduate students. Arts at Michigan exists to integrate arts and culture into the undergraduate experience at the University of Michigan by increasing student access to the arts, serving as an informational resource, supporting student talent and arts initiatives, and promoting arts as a tool for learning.

Bentley Historical Library
 Serves as the repository for both the Michigan Historical Collections and the University Archives with university records dating from 1817.

Clements Library
 Houses 75,000 printed books and pamphlets and supporting material focusing primarily on American history from the Age of Exploration to World War I.

Detroit Observatory
 Constructed in 1854 by the University's first president, Henry P. Tappan, it is the oldest American astronomical observatory to retain its original telescopes in their mounts. Restored in 1997, the Observatory serves as a museum and a center for 19th-century science, technology, and culture.

Exhibit Museum of Natural History
 Features exhibits on prehistoric life, including Michigan's largest display of dinosaur fossils, Michigan wildlife, geology, and anthropology. Planetarium shows change seasonally. A favorite destination for families and K-12 field trips, the Museum also offers programs for adults and students highlighting the latest scientific research at U-M.

Kelsey Museum of Archaeology
The Kelsey Museum houses a collection of nearly 100,000 objects from the civilizations of the Mediterranean and the Near East. The museum also sponsors research, educational programs for children, oversees fieldwork projects, and serves as the home for the Interdepartmental Program in Classical Art and Archaeology.

Museum of Art
 One of the finest university art museums in the country with collections encompassing more than 17,000 works of art from around the world, UMMA presents a diverse schedule of special exhibitions and public programs every year. UMMA brings university and community constituencies together as an important teaching and research arm of the University and as a public resource for the arts.

Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum
These "living museums" include a conservatory with over 1,200 unusual and exotic plants from around the world and over 470 acres of gardens, plant collections, natural ecosystems, and a variety of outdoor settings for nature appreciation and study and other activities. The Gardens and Arboretum support teaching and research at the University while also providing a wide range of community oriented programs and events.

University Library
 Is ranked fifth in the nation and houses more than six million volumes of print material, maps, microforms, and extensive digital collections, which support instruction, research and service activities in the University and the community.

University Musical Society (UMS)

Is the oldest university-related performing-arts presenting organization in the nation. Annually UMS presents 75 performances of music, dance and theater in 11 university and community venues; hosts up to 150 educational events; and supports creative artists through commissions, new productions, and residencies.
